Fujitsu has unveiled at Mobile Technologies in Barcelona prototype smart cane for the elderly. Cane in addition to its primary function may also perform the function of GPS navigator, reports CNET. A device called Fujitsu New Generation Cane is equipped with GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
On the handle canes are LEDs to indicate the direction in which to move. The ultimate goal of pre-entered by the computer.
